BLOCKS OUT OF SCRATCH
Blocks have traditionally been made out of wood. The wooden blocks give excellent results but at the same time are expensive and time consuming to make.
I went on a research journey to find alternative materials to make blocks instead of wood, which in turn can be used for block printing/stamping and which also gives a similar result as wooden blocks.
Each and every individual block has been carved, shaped and cut by me using simple household tools. The paint used for dabbing is acrylic plaint on both surfaces of paper and fabric.
FOAM SHEET BLOCK
These blocks have been recycled by using old medicine boxes as the base to stick the block on top using adhesive.

RUBBER BOUNCY BALL BLOCK
The block here is made from a children's Bouncy ball. The block was made by cutting the ball into half and carving the required shapes.

PLASTER OF PARIS BLOCK
This particular block has been made by carving out a slab of Plaster of Paris using wood carving tools . The surface was then smoothed with the help of sandpaper.
